As with everything else in life, there is no “one size fits all” scanning solution that suits the requirements of all of our customers. Many have files, such as Accounts Payables or Claims records that contain a wide array of document sizes and weights, random sizes, multiple attachments, receipts, invoices, chits, records, slips and other documents that don’t process cleanly on most scan platforms.

On top of these problems, often times these files are in poor condition and require many hours of manual intervention to hand prepare each page for passage through a traditional high speed scanner. Small documents like cash register strips, receipts and other small items needed to be taped to backing sheets lest they be torn or lost inside the scanner.

The Opex people have solved that with their ingenious line of scanners. We can now scan these messy files with a minimum of preparation prior to scanning given their ingenious paper transport system that flawlessly captures any document right down to business card size. Customers that were previously unable to justify the cost of scanning ugly work due to the high costs of the preparation required are now able to move forward.
